Do you use "All Seeing Eye" to find your servers? Thats what I use and it's easy to find servers that I can play on with a low ping. Now just because I get a low ping doesn't mean I don't get lagg. But I can find them and play a game. If you don't, you should use it. You can get it at http://www.udpsoft.com/. They have a free version that I used for a long time, but then I finally paid and got the full version. It's 10 bucks a year or 30 bucks lifetime. I paid the 30 since I play allot online. It works for just about any on-line game. If you haven't used it, give it a try.

It seems I rarely ping 60 to a server anymore. Lately 100 has been good for me. Early evenings I've been seeing a 220 ping at badman's. I traced it and it seems my ping jumps as soon as it hits the main hop into Texas at Dallas....I'm fine til I leave L.A.
I've been playing a little at Area 51. With a 150 ping, I can't hit anything on that server...dead before you know it is a more pronounced experience there.
Does anyone have the ip of a busy west coast pickup server? |
