| How do I post news on the front page? So far it's pretty fun, not much different from the Quake 2 Demo though. I have to run it on the lowest visual settings (640x??? resolution, ect.) for it to run smooth. I tried using the Ultra High Quality settings and it was just running at like 1 frame for every 5 seconds. Loading the level takes a while too. It took like 5 minutes for the loading level meter to fill up, then it took like another 5 minutes for the map to start. But once you get past the load times, and set your visual settings so that the game runs smooth, it's fun to play. |

| Aww, man... thats the kind of stuff you should submit as news on the front page. Nice find, I'm downloading now. Have you tried it yet? I guess you must have to know about long load times, but how is it. I have to work in the morning so I'll have to wait till friday afternoon to try it. |

If you have Doom 3, then you can play the newest mod for it: Quake 2 Lost Marine. It's just like the Quake 2 Demo, except with all the Doom 3 graphics and engine enhancements. Check it out at http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=7504
P.S. This mod has some looong loading times. |
