OK, I had someone tell me that was happening before. He wasn't at that high a rez, so I made the background bigger, but not that big. Should be fixed now though. I can't figure out how to fix it the way it should be done. I should be able to set the background image, and a background color to black and that should take care of it, but it aparently doesn't. Oh well, I'll look into doing it right when I get time, but it should look right for you now.
Thanks for the heads up. |

| FYI, I have my new 21" monitor set up. I'm in 1600x1200 and the black on the site doesn't quite reach the the sides of the monitor. There is about 1.5" of white on each side before the black background starts. I'll try to mail you a screenie. |

Ahh, I've been playin and trying to fix code errors. I posted a link on postnukes site for people to see what I did with my theme. (they have a "show off your site" section). I got real good responces, but a few bugs popped up. One was that the background was only 1024x768 and if you used a higher resolution on your monitor, the background fell about 2 inches short all the way around. It let the white background color show (even though I set it to black) and looked real sucky. I fixed it wth a bigger background image, and added a treat at the top. When you scroll, the banner reveals Xearo behind it.
The second bug that was pointed out was, that even though the site fit in the browser, it had a horizontal scroll bar and you could scroll off to the right. It only did it for me in Internet Explorer, but someone said it did it in firefox also. Anyways, it was a matter of changing a table width to a degree instead of a pixel width. Makes it flexible and works out great.
I still have some 50 errors (according to Wc3), but I did a check on the theme before I started, and by itself, it has about 25, so I don't feel that bad.
I also am in the proccess of building another friends site for him. He has a little strainge taiste, but it looks pretty good right now. You can have a look at what I did HERE. I made all the graphics (the way he wanted) and did all the html from scratch. Blah blah blah, right? Oh well, more to do. |
