The new job is goin great. I have another month to go to pass probation, then I'm in for good. They just ordered me a cell phone for work, so I think it's a shoe in.
As for the other site, it's dead. The guy who was writing the PHP for it has givin up. So I had to also. His site still has the version 0.5 that I downloaded close to a year ago. If you want to take up PHP, then it could get goin again. It just needs some features added that I can't do and he hasn't done. Oh well, it was a thought.
My freinds site I made for him is doin good. The site is pretty simple, but he's getting buisness. Almost enough to call it a full time job. I had 2 other offers to make sites but turned them down. (Real estate agents) I just don't seem to have time for that kind of work. Since I don't know html off the top of my head and allot is trial and error, it would be too hard for me to do it for them. They wanted big sites, and to get them done fast enough, I wouldn't have the time. Good money, but oh well. |

Yea, I know what you're saying. Even right now I play more Q3A than Q4. My clan in Q4 is even thinking about switching games, because there are very few clans out there who are available to play. I hope the next Quake series, Enemy Territory Quake Wars does better than Q4. Because Q4 is hardly getting any love.
As for your new job, how's that going? I'm operating on new hours as well, because of the new school semester and classes. It's tough going from waking up at noon, to waking up at 6 AM now, lol. How are your other sites going? Like the digg-style gaming site, and your friend's business site? |

Well I know for me, ALL gaming has been dead for a month or two. I've been at my new job and now don't have allot of free time to play. I used to work nights, so when I got home, everyone in the house was asleep, so I could play unrestricted all night. And then when I got up, everyone was at work and school, so I had untill I went to work to play.
Now, I work normal, "human" day hours. So when I get off work, everyone is home and has plans for the evening, or things for me to do around the house. I haven't figured out a play time in this new schedule, so it's been dead for me.
I never really got into Quake4 as much as I did Quake3. It just didn't seem as fast as Q3. I don't know if that was it, or if it just wasn't Q3. I half expected Q4 to be Q3 with better graphics. Instead it felt like UT2K with Quake theme, or something like that. I just didn't get hooked like Q3. |

| Is Quake 4 already dead or what? I've noticed there's less servers now, and nobody has posted a thing on here for quite some time. |
