| I'm only 21, and I don't plan on getting married... at least not anytime soon. |

So, your not married then? Cuz I've been married for a long time, and bitchin doesn't get shit. I just go with the flow, and things work out in time. LOL. As my Wife says, I may be the man of the house, but she's the neck that turns the head. It's all good.

You're the man of the house Div'. You've got to take charge and let your wife know who is the boss when it comes to spending money. The next time your wife rags on you about spending money, just rag on her about spending money at women department stores... lol. |

My old card was the Geforce FX 5600 ultra. A real nice card, but I was putting together another system for my Boys to keep them off mine and needed a card for them, so upgrade mine and moved the old down the line.
My old card ran everything great, so I really don't notice much of a difference except on the newer games like FarCry.
The new card isn't the 9800 XT, which is the 449 buck card, it's the 9800 Pro 128meg which was 249 bucks, but don't tell my wife. I told her I was getting a card for the boys for about a hundred bucks. When she asked how much I spent, I just told her "too much", and so far, thats all I've had to say. LOL

| I have the ATI 9800 Pro also, she's a beauty. My old computer was an AMD 450 mhz with a VooDoo 3 3000, so I got shitty fps (10 to 40 fps). When I got a new computer with the ATI 9800 Pro, I shit you not, people looked like they were floating in the air when they jumped. It's a great card, you'll like it. You can get great fps with it and have your resolution/graphic settings all the way up on high. |

Is that the expensive one ATI Saphire? About $449.00? I've seen it for $449.00 I actually want to buy that Saphire card but am waiting for Doom 3 maybe by that time the card has gone down a little bit.
At the moment I have an Asus GF3 - 64 ram - this card came with some cool 3d Glasses but it hurts the eyes after a while and I rarely use them. I am also thinking of upgrading my MB and CPU, who knows I just want to be ready for D3!!!

Well, I talked my wife into letting me spend some money. I got the ATI 9800 pro video card. Still getting used to it. As always with a new card it "feels" different. Looks great, but plays a little weird, maybe it's just me, but I'm getting it.
