Yes, you're right. It's much more responsive now. It had gotten pretty bad for awhile there.

Does anyone else notice that it seems to load faster now. It had been getting real slow for me the last month or so, and now seems to be fast again. I had thought it was my connection, you know, going through some crappy server on the way to the site. Now it seems nice again. Is it me?

I hate spammers. Always love it when they convict a spammer to jail/prison time.

Well, I started poking around my site and found some interesting things. It looks like it was highjacked for spamming. I found some files that I never put there. After checking the code in them it was clear they were used to forward e-mail. It went to another site and I'm gonna let them know about it also. Damn-Hackers. I removed the files and will keep an eye on it to see if they come back. I can check the log and see where they come from this time. I have it set to delete the logs after a month so I can't see where they came from last time. I'm on it now.

I'm just ignoring him. Gonna wait and see if he sends another. He's pretty computer illiterate, so I'm not worried. I was just wondering if I was right in assuming he meant ram. I suppose you could have programs running on the server that would use ram, but I don't. I thought about one for a stats program, but I can't get root access to install and run it. So he's talking out his ass, so I'm not worried.

Why don't you tell him what you just said? Sounds to me like it's his problem. Having files stored on the server don't use ram.

O.K., Who knows something about websites. My hosting service sent me an e-mail saying that my site is using too much memory on the server. HUH? I have unlimited hd space, and unlimited bandwidth. So what the hell is he talking about. That my php/Mysql site is using too much ram? Well, I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about that, is there. The PHP site was installed from the site cpanel that he provided. I installed what he had. I didn't go out and install my own software. (well i did go and get the gallery and forum) Any ideas?
