No you don't need firefox. It works in any browser. Whoever wants to see it just needs to install the plugin. It's real easy to make for your site. Just go to this link http://www.quake3addicts.com/badmans.html and in your browser, do a view, page source. Copy the html code and make a html page and paste it in. Name it whatever you want and just change the ip address in the code to the server address you want. For a page wih more than one server on it. you can repeat the section that has the server address in it like I did here http://www.quake3addicts.com/server.html if you want a menu to list the servers so when you click you get one at a time, make a list of links like http://www.quake3addicts.com/serversBlock.html and link them to the files you make. Mine is linked to a module in the portal system my site runs on. so you would make href= your page you made.
Hope that helps.

Yep, you just put the file "npq3plug.dll" in your mozilla firefox plugins folder. I use Firefox also and the plugin works fine. The file you download is a zip file. Unpack it and copy the file "npq3plug.dll" that is in it to the firefox plugins folder and your set.

OK, I searched high and low and figured out a way to do it. I added a Quake3 server staus menu under the main menu on the left. I still have the server status link in the main menu (I'll remove it later, if we go with the menu). If you have the q3plug installed in your browser, then have a look. If not, then you can download it here http://members.liwest.at/mb/q3plug. Let me know what you think. Let me know if you like the menu or just having them all together like the link in the main menu. Also if you want to add a server to the list, let me know, and I'll gladly add it.
